In my previous blog post, I talked about Singapore, a really fascinating island city-state. In this blog post, I will talk about Mexico! Mexico is a country bordered to the north by the United States. Some fascinating tourist attraction sites are Cancun, Mexico City, and Guadalajara.
Cancun is a city in southeast Mexico. The sand there is made from crushed coral so that it won’t burn your feet! There is an entire Cancun underwater museum. The Maya Barrier Reef, located in Cancun, is the second biggest reef after Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. After some research, I found out that Cancun has the world’s longest underwater cave! In Cancun, you can get the chance to swim with the biggest fish in the world!
Mexico City is the capital of Mexico and the most populous city in North America. It is very important culturally so there over 150 museums. There are also many, many musical festivals. It also has volcanoes nearby so it gives adventurers a chance to climb and have fun! Another cool thing there is that the monarch butterfly migration happens locally. Mexico City is not only important culturally but also historically. There are many historic neighborhoods where you feel like you stepped back in time.
Guadalajara is the capital of Jalisco, a Mexican state. It is the second biggest city in Mexico after Mexico City. The main dish there is the Drowned Bread Rolls. Guadalajara has Latin America’s largest indoor market. There are 3000 stalls of everything you can imagine. A very popular structure there is the Guadalajara Cathedral. There are also some interesting museums.
In conclusion, Mexico is a very interesting place. I only mentioned a few of the places there but there are definitely many more locations. I would definitely travel there one day because it seems like a very interesting place.
